
Who are the Friends of the Churubusco Public Library?
The organization of the Friends was formed in 1999. It is dedicated to support the goals and services of the libraries in the United States and specifically the library system of Churubusco.
How does one join and become a Friend?
An individual can be a member by paying an annual fee of $3.00 with the option of receiving two free books from the Annual Summer Book Sale.
Membership is for one year, renewable on June 10th.

How do the Friends assist
the Library in keeping pace with the ever-increasing demands of library services
due to rising costs?
Members of the Friends assist the Library by sponsoring fundraising
events, such as the Christmas Walk, and
Book Sale. The Friends also assist by actively promoting gift giving and group
contribution, as well as with dues from membership.
Therefore:
It Is a Privilege To Be A Friend,
To Have a Small Part In Promoting
The Cultural, Recreational, And Life Long Learning
For Which Purposes Libraries Exist!
